Job Summary

This advanced level position utilizes technical and mechanical knowledge in order to assemble and package compression and production equipment.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Interprets customer's specifications and applicable industry codes and standards
  • Manipulates various tools to complete assigned tasks
  • Utilizes electrical and mechanical skills to complete tasks
  • Utilizes knowledge of structural layout, piping/tubing and electrical controls and systems
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Specific Skills

  • Ability to read and understand complex blueprints
  • Advanced understanding of wiring/piping schematics
  • Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English
  • Working knowledge of algebra and basic knowledge of geometry


  • Minimum: High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Vocational or technical training - In related field


  • Minimum: 5 - 8 years related work experience

Additional Qualifications

  • Knowledge of machines, tools, designs, uses, repair and maintenance preferred
  • Intermediate welding knowledge preferred

  • Ability to operate overhead cranes and forklifts preferred
