Job Summary

This entry-level position is responsible for negotiating trucking service contracts and managing and tracking oil inventory, under direct supervision. Will assist in managing loads submitted through the CHKLiquids website and optimizing the procedures and processes in place for moving company oil liquids. Provides analysis and coordinates with internal/external clients in order to identify areas for improvement.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinates closely with Marketing Reps, pumpers, liquid measurement field technicians, and assigned trucking service providers to ensure most economical movement of oil for CHK as a whole.
  • Negotiates directly with 3rd party oil trucking contractors for downstream movement of oil.
  • Assists in preparing reports and communicating statistics to key stakeholders.
  • Processes calls and emails from the field and provides support to help move oil inventory in the most economical manner and achieve established goals.
  • Analyzes reports to identify gaps in processes and proposes solutions to close gaps; may also implement solutions.
  • Trains and sets up new users (internal and external) on CHKLiquids and provides support as needed; may include traveling to field offices as necessary.
  • Validates data in CHKLiquids and performs system maintenance to ensure clean and accurate data.

  • Education

    • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree - from accredited university
    • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree - from accredited university - Business, Mathematics, Accounting or related field


    • Minimum: 0 - 2 years related work experience
