Job Summary

This position is responsible for applying professional human resources knowledge and experience to a variety of work activities, under limited supervision, in order to support one or more HR functions. Provides strategic analysis, evaluation, and implementation of HR policies, procedures, programs, and HRIS systems to enable business strategies and enhance overall organizational functioning.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design and execution of training and talent initiatives to support our business strategy through our core values, competencies and behaviors 
  • Present ideas effectively, delivering presentations suited to the characteristics and needs of the audience
  • Assist with coordination of annual compliance training
  • Evaluate overall organizational development needs across all of our operating areas
  • Assist with tracking budgets and negotiating contracts and vendor management
  • Manage eLearning platforms Percipio and SuccessFactors LMS and strategically market learnings to the organization
  • Oversee and execute our Petrotechnical Development Programs and Technical Training committees
  • Review and revise implementation of our core competency model to align with our individual development plan strategy
  • Understand and enhance use of Birkman assessment throughout the organization
  • Acts as an internal consultant to management to address talent management and workforce planning issues and concerns, recommending strategy and effective solutions that enable business operations
  • Provides analysis and recommendations to management on program, and system design and implementation
  • Researches and analyzes best practices to ensure competitive programs
  • Develops a strong working knowledge of business clients in order to provide effective support and solutions
  • Utilizes project management methodology to execute initiatives
  • Analyzes statistical data and reports to identify root cause, provide recommendations, and aid in strategic decision making
  • Stays current on industry trends
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Minimum: High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree - from accredited university
  • Preferred: Master’s degree - from accredited university - Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Preferred: Other - PHR/SPHR; CCP/CBP/GCCP/GCBP; CEP: CPLO


  • Minimum: 5 - 8 years related work experience
