Job Summary

This entry level position performs preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance tasks, under direct supervision on company facilities, grounds, and equipment in order to ensure maximum efficiency and maximum longevity.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prioritizes, schedules, and completes incoming work requests from work manager system while providing a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Performs scheduled and proactive maintenance on building systems to ensure a high level of operation
  • Compile information found during daily facility assessments and then take action to resolve them. This information to include deficiencies from all facets of the building envelope and mechanical operations
  • Follows safety standards in compliance with all company, local, city, state, and federal guidelines
  • Repair, replace, and reassemble defective equipment and parts. This may include the use of hand and power tools
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Operate independently with minimal supervisory oversight 

Job Specific Skills

  • Basic knowledge of PPE, LOTO, and other safety protocols
  • Basic knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved utilized in the repair and maintenance of commercial facilities that includes the building envelope and its mechanical components
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and provide regular updates
  • Ability to analyze/identify performance issues with machinery and conduct necessary repairs and/or enhancements
  • Work and communicate effectively using both electronic and verbal communication to all levels of co-workers, clients, and other external contacts
  • Basic navigation and understanding of Windows, MS office, and other basic software operation, including the use of smartphones

Education

Minimum: High school diploma or GED

Experience

Minimum: 0 - 2 years related work experience
