Job Summary

This intermediate level position processes, maintains and analyzes gas, NGL and oil marketing contracts and agreements, in order to assist contract originators, provide contract detail to numerous stakeholders and help maintain compliance requirements.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Interprets contract terms to initiate the setup of all contracts, amendments, agreements and/or oil confirmations across multiple information systems
  • Coordinates execution of contracts and agreements across multiple levels of management
  • Researches and resolves contract, allocation and payment issues with working interest owners, pipeline companies, accounting, division orders, volume control, etc
  • Investigates, compiles and provides contractual information for compliance, legal and audit requests and issue resolution
  • Acts as a marketing data liaison with related functions, departments and management to ensure contractual information is effectively shared among internal and external stakeholders
  • Organizes, analyzes and maintains current and historical contract and agreement data across multiple systems or other methods
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Specific Skills

  • Knowledge of oil and gas terminology, especially as it relates to contracts
  • Intermediate knowledge of oil and gas marketing
  • Analytical/problem solving skills
  • Able to effectively manage time and prioritize in order to accomplish tasks
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn company specific applications

Education

  • Minimum: High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree - from accredited university - Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field

Experience

  • Minimum: 2 - 5 years related work experience
