Job Summary
This intermediate-level position analyzes operations processes, maintains software and monitors operations activities including production data, measurement data and field maintenance in order to provide expert support and assistance to the Operations teams.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge of drilling operations pertaining to on and off-bottom operations
- Monitors, analyzes, and interprets real-time drilling operations while comparing to off-set data
- Identify and communicate drilling best practices to field staff, engineers, and managers
- Understanding of torque and drag modeling and trends
- Basic knowledge of directional drilling
- Ability to review data, create presentations, and effectively communicate results

- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and organization skills
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines
- Demonstrates basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and is able to learn company specific applications
Education
- Minimum: High school diploma or GED
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree - from accredited university
Experience
- Minimum: 2 - 5 years
