Job Summary

This intermediate-level position is responsible for remotely analyzing oil and gas production operations data in order to support and assist the operation teams in the company.  

Job Duties & Responsibilities

•    Remotely Monitors, analyzes, and interprets real-time field operations data from production equipment, compressors, wellheads, tanks, dehydrators and meters.
•    Analyzes production data related problems and works with operations analyst and field personnel to troubleshoot and diagnose issues seen.  
•    Optimizes and provides support for artificial lift systems as needed.
•    Demonstrates a high level of communication skills to various groups within and outside the organization.    
•    Receives and makes phone calls to field personnel, vendors, and other groups.
•    May provide guidance to field personnel as required on industry best practices, standards and 
•    efficiency efforts.
•    Generates high quality reports and presentations for field staff, departmental and upper 
•    management use.
•    Identifies and shares production and liquid logistics best practices by performing trend analysis.
•    Utilize Cygnet and/or other company specific programs to perform trend analysis on operations data received from the field.

•    Demonstrates basic computer knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and is able to learn specific company applications.
•    Possess a working knowledge of oil and gas production operations systems.  
•    Possess a working knowledge of RTU principles and concepts.
•    Possess a working knowledge of Cygnet and/or other related SCADA trending software applications. 
•    Be able to work 12 hour shifts (Day and/or Night) including some holidays.  


Minimum: High school diploma or GED

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree - from accredited university


Minimum: 2 - 5 years
