Job Summary

The IT Analyst II is an intermediate-level position responsible for providing technical assistance to business users, under general supervision. This position provides troubleshooting, technical advice, and guidance to business users on a variety of products and services. Responsibilities include documenting and analyzing products, processes, protocols and standards, organizational functioning and performance, as well as monitoring and regulating security access.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Performs troubleshooting and minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
  • Conducts research and performs analysis of products, services, protocols, and standards and makes recommendations for improvement.
  • Creates knowledge base of content documenting processes, procedures, and best practice standards.
  • Analyzes problems to enhance business productivity by providing technical advice, solutions or process recommendations.
  • Regulates security access following established procedures to safeguard information.
  • Assists with the execution of projects as directed.
  • Considers business implications of new technologies to the current business environment.
  • Designs or implements IT strategies to enhance business productivity.
  • Develops and supports business relationships with IT project teams and business customers.
  • Assists with project execution at the enterprise level to ensure adherence to project plan methodologies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Minimum: High School Diploma
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree - from accredited university - IT, MIS, Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum: 2 - 5 years related work experience
Additional Qualifications
  • Expertise in HANA architecture/design and data modeling with SAP HANA 1.0 or above
  • Experience in HANA Modelling including Attribute Views, Analytical Views, Calculation Views, and SQL scripting
  • Experience in designing optimal HANA solutions and understanding HANA memory usage
  • Experience in performance tuning
  • Experience with Explain Plan and Visualize Plan
  • Advanced knowledge on Database design concepts, should be able to write SQL queries
  • Knowledge on Data Provisioning, understand the full life-cycle of HANA Data Modeling
  • Experience with Delivery Units to migrate HANA objects
  • Strong understanding of the SAP NetWeaver platform
  • Experience in SAP BW on Hana 7.4 or above
  • Extensive working knowledge on Data Source, InfoPackage, InfoObject, Transformation, DSO (Advanced and Classic), InfoCubes, Composite Providers, DTP, and Process Chain
  • Experience with Open ODS view
  • Experience in Start Routine, End Routine and Field Routine
  • Experience with Bex Query
  • Knowledge on BOBJ development, including Analysis for Office, Webi, Crystal Reports, Dashboard with Design Studio
  • Experience with Informatica
