Job Summary

This senior level position designs and implements application integrations, under limited supervision, to support the planning, implementation, operation, and maintenance of information systems. This role participates in effective communication forums with business customers as well as cross-functional IT staff, helping guide strategic direction.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Enterprise API’s using the MuleSoft Anypoint platform
  • Develop and maintain streaming data transformation using Azure Services
  • Develop and maintain batch ETL
  • Analyze functional requirements to produce solution specifications using established integrations patterns
  • Design reusable enterprise data models using logical modeling techniques
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve integration issues, using established procedures
  • Follows best practices and project guidelines including the use of source control, automated tested and deployment and proper documentation practices
  • Conducts code reviews to ensure suitability and supportability of developed solutions
  • Develops and maintains automated deployment processes
  • Implements measures to protect data, software and hardware
  • Maintains documentation of implementations, configurations, maintenance procedures, best practices, etc.
  • Provides innovative and practical solutions to improve performance, expand services, serve new purposes or improve processes
  • Develops and supports business relationships with IT project teams and business customers
  • Provides work leadership and training to less experienced staff
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Specific Skills

  • Experience integrating with Cloud/SaaS applications, APIs, SDKs and legacy applications
  • Experience developing with Mule 4 using DataWeave 2.0, Anypoint Studio, CloudHub, API Manager and Anypoint Exchange
  • Experience developing APIs using RAML specifications
  • Experience with Azure Streaming services: Azure IoT Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Functions, JavaScript
  • Experience as an object-oriented software engineer, including unit testing, exception handling and common design patterns
  • Thorough knowledge of database concepts using SQL Server, Oracle, and Snowflake
  • Practical understanding of enterprise data management concepts
  • Experience developing enterprise data models through conceptual, logical, and physical models
  • Knowledge of XML/JSON
  • Knowledge of ETL toolsets, specifically Informatica Cloud Data Integration or comparable solutions
  • Knowledge of enterprise application integration patterns, including REST request/response, event-driven, and batch
  • Experience automating deployment and testing with CI/CD tooling, specifically Git, Azure DevOps and Maven
  • Experience in a Scrum/Agile SDLC environment
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance


  •  Minimum: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university 
  •  Preferred: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university – IT, MIS, Computer Science or related field


  • Minimum: 5 – 8+ years of related work experience
  • Preferred: work experience in a complex, multi-platform environment


  • Remote optional if permanent residence is in one of the following states: Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Wyoming or Pennsylvania
