Job Summary

This intermediate level position analyzes the evaluation and implementation of strategic planning and financial strategies in order to improve the operational and financial effectiveness of the company.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Analyzes financial information to forecast business solutions, prepare budgets, capital allocation, portfolio management and strategic alternatives
• Develops financial reports for forecasting, trending, and results analysis
• Supports departments to development strategies and improvement of company performance
• Develops operational and financial models for asset valuation, capitol allocation, acquisitions and divestitures
• Moderate knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data
• Moderate proficiency in sorting through large amounts of data to determine accuracy and identify unusual variations
• Enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including experience in modeling
• Moderate knowledge data visualization software
• Moderate experience in developing Power Point presentations for Executives and Board of Directors
• Ability to work on high profile projects and handle confidential data
• Performs other duties as assigned

•Enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including experience in modeling and linear programming
•Moderate knowledge of VBA and data visualization software experience

 

 

Education

  • Minimum: High school diploma or GED
  • Preferred:  Bachelor’s degree - from accredited university - Accounting, Finance or related field

Experience

  • Minimum: 2 - 5 years related work experience
