Job Summary
This intermediate level position completes assigned tasks in order to perform fitting and welding work on compression and production equipment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
- Work with SMAW, GMAW, SCAW, and SAW welding processes
- Work independently as well as in a team environment focusing on teamwork and unity
- Layout structural and piping components using hand tools
- Position fixtures, jigs, pin wheels, rolls, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Specific Skills
- Intermediate ability to perform basic welding techniques
- Intermediate abilityto read and understand blueprints
- Intermediate ability to interpret customer's specifications and applicable industry codes and standards
- Possess basic computer skills, communication skills, and customer service skills
Education
- Preferred: High school diploma or GED
Experience
- Minimum: 2 - 5 years related work experience
